Funeral services set for Live Oak Firefighter Scott Collins

Live Oak —

William Scott “Scotty” Collins, 39, Live Oak, FL passed away on Tuesday, November 13,2012. The Wauchula, Fl native worked for the City of Live Oak Fire Department and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Live Oak. He loved music, was a member of River Ranch, was lead vocals and guitar in ‘Monroe Station’, he also loved the outdoors, hunting and big trucks. He is survived by his ; mother: Janet Collins, Live Oak, FL; one daughter: Ashley Collins, Indianapolis, IN; one son: William Knox Collins, Navarre, FL; one sister: Leslie Locklar, Wauchula, FL; two brothers: Daniel “Mickey” Collins, PA, David Collins, Monticello, Fl; nieces and nephews: Charles Collins, Robert Locklar, Lisa Collins, Savannah Chancey, Steven Locklar; great-nieces and nephews: Taylor Hays, Jaymie Chancey and Ryan Collins; girlfriend: Kartin Howell and son William James Howell, Live Oak, FL. Services for Scott will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 20th at First United Methodist Church with Dr. William M. Finnin, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, November 19th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Daniels Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers family asks donations be made to the Professional firefighter of Live Oak 200 N.E. Duval Street Live Oak, Fl 32064.
