Rant & Rave - Jan. 18, 2013

Live Oak — I want to send in a rave for First Advent Christian Church in Live Oak. They have a true heart to serve God,reach out to our community and help in anyway they can. They offer their facility to Girl Scouts, and other groups to use, run Sword Seekers for elementary school children and a Youth Group for middle and high school students on Wed. afternoons. The Ladies Fellowship was able to help over 75 people this Christmas with funds they raised from their yearly yard sale. Thank you for all you do!

Why are you asking someone else to take care of your problem? This is the problem with America!!! Ref below

Yes, I sent a complaint in with Suwannee County animal control. I have called over a month ago about a dog on 120th Street right off of Hughes Road and I just recently called again. Nothing has been done about the dog. I am tired of having to go back and forth on that road and that dog just constantly chasing me. Please somebody help get rid of that dog.

Reconfiguring the three elementary schools will not solve the school system's problems.  It's only obfuscation, and probably at a cost of several million dollars.

Boy, it appears there are many B.S.ers in the Suwannee County School system.  "Smaller grade level teams would also help the school to be more vertical and horizontal in curriculum development."  Read that five times and see if it makes sense to you!

Having just read Dr. Walter E. Williams' article, "Dishonest educators,", in which he asks, "If they (those testing to become certified teachers) manage to get through the mockery of teacher certification, at what schools do you think they will teach?

I've met a few of them in our schools!  Want names?
