Live Oak election: Books close Monday

Live Oak —

The last day to register to vote in the May 6 city of Live Oak election is Monday, April 7. Early voting is set for the general election from Monday, April 28 through Saturday, May 3. Monday through Friday hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The run-off election, if needed, will be June 10. Early voting for the run-off will be Monday, June 2 through Saturday, June 7. Monday through Friday hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A run-off election will only be needed for the mayor race, if one of the candidates does not get at least 50 percent plus one vote to beat out the other three contenders.
