Rant & Rave - Jan. 10, 2014

Live Oak —

Stop worrying about the 4way stop and speed limit on Helvenston and worry about that it needs resurfacing, and I don't mean filling the holes with asphalt !

****

Work ethic in Live Oak / Suwannee County in horrendous

****

2 people applied for the Economic Development position. That speaks loudly. We need a professional salary commensurate with the experience and skills needed to do this job. Come on Commissioners, this is part of our problem. We need knowledgeable people growing this community working for the people. Not someone who is going to go along to get along because they don't know any better.

****

the money need to be spent on repairing the roads and not be waisted on stuff that not in portant and fund more money into the school for the kids not on city council that don't care for the citizen of live oak

****

some police officer do care about the citenzen and other like to harssed people for no reson I nave seen a lot of that lately to the ones that care thank keep up the good work

****

yes I read the rant and rave it good to express what on your mind but get involed more and no what going on in your community

****

Hope we got enough "dumb luck to get one a them "new people" to the chamber & save us from ourselves!

****

The January 3, 2014 Editorial by the Suwannee Democrat was spot on. Well said!

This "by right" language in the county land development regulations is eroding our trust in the County Commission Board. Government must be transparent. This language makes it look like you are trying to hide something that will no doubt benefit you and not the people. Get with it Commissioners, repeal the language and reestablish our faith in good government.
