HAMILTON COUNTY:

 

Central Avenue SW  The road is closed to through traffic from Southwest Fourth Street to the southern city limits in Jasper for work on improving the drainage system and preparation for construction of a paved bike and walking trail.  Work is continuing northward to Martin Luther King Jr. Street.

 

U.S. 41  The road will be temporarily closed Saturday, December 14 from 6-6:30 p.m. between U.S. 129 and County Road 6 for the Jasper Christmas parade. Jasper Police will detour traffic.

 

LAFAYETTE COUNTY:

 

U.S. 27  The road will be temporarily closed Saturday, December 14 from 7-8 p.m. between Southeast Hawkins Avenue and Northwest Bloxham Street in downtown Mayo for the annual Christmas parade. Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office will detour traffic.
