The Wanee Music Festival continues through Saturday at The Spirit of Suwannee Music Park. The Allman Brothers Band, along with Widespread Panic, headline a great line-up of outstanding performers for what is fast becoming one of the most popular festivals in the country.

Relay for Life corn hole tourney


A corn hole tournament to benefit Relay for Life of Suwannee County will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative, located at 11340 100th St. You can pre-register your team at www.relayforlife.org/suwanneefl.

SHS Band free concert


The public is invited to a free concert of the Suwannee High School Band at First Baptist Church of Dowling Park on Saturday at 4 p.m. A love offering will be taken. Come with your family and enjoy a great concert and help support the band. The church is located at 11274 235th Lane near the intersection of CR 250 and CR 136 in Dowling Park.

BJ Garcia Run set for Saturday


The third annual BJ Garcia Running for Research Foundation run-a-thon will be held at the Branford High School Track in Branford on Saturday, April 20, between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. The run-a-thon is in memoriam of18-year-old Roberto (BJ) Garcia, a 2001 graduate of Branford High School, who lost his battle with acute lymphocytic leukemia. The run-a-thon is to benefit research for the Leukemia and Lymphnoma Society.
