SHS softball begins season with win

Live Oak — The Suwannee High School softball team started off this season with a win against Santa Fe Friday night at Santa Fe. The final score was 2-1.


The team was supposed to begin the season against PK Yonge on Thursday. However, that game was rained out and was rescheduled for this past Monday night. See the story in a future edition.


Suwannee put one score in the first and the other in the eighth inning. 


Timberly Steichen, a sophomore at SHS, went 2-4 with one RBI. Shayla Kicklighter went 1-3 with one RBI. 
Jessie TenBroeck went 1-4 as did Haejin Choe and Kaitlyn Rogers went 1-3.
