Hale takes feature win at South Georgia

— Don Hale Jr. of Live Oak captured his first Late Model win at South Georgia Motorsports Park Saturday night. Hale qualified on the pole but drew a number 5 pill to start on the inside of the third row. He was patient but steadfast, while working his way to the front. The 40-lap feature had numerous lead changes. Some of Hale’s main competition came from Matt Mitchell, driver of the Craftsman Truck Series #15. He is a teammate of Kyle Busch, driver of truck #51 with the Toyota Tundra Team.
