Live Oak — Bernice C. Holton

Bernice C. Holton, 95, passed away Tuesday June 22, 2010 in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida following a brief illness.

Mrs. Holton was born April 27, 1915 in Troy, Alabama and moved to the Branford area in 1977 from Fort Pierce, Fla. She was a homemaker, a Sunday School Teacher for over 40 years and was a charter member of Peace Baptist Church in Branford, Fla.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rev. T.L. and Barbara Holton of Branford Fla.; daughter, Doris H. Wiles of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Robert Harvey of Blairsville, Ga.; 12 grandchildren 32 great-grandchildren 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Robert Humphrey of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; sister-in-law, Mary Childs of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; brother, Stallings Childs of Boca Raton, Fla.; many nephews, nieces, friends and brothers and sisters in Christ.

Graveside services were conducted Tuesday June 29, 2010 at 2 p.m. in White City Cemetery, Ft. Pierce, Fla. with Dr. E.V. Coons officiating. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 2, 2010 at 11 a.m. in Peace Baptist Church, Branford, Fla., with Pastor Vernon Welkner and Dr. E .V. Coons officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Peace Baptist Church Building Fund, 7794 East US Highway 27 Branford, FL 32008.

Daniels Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. Branford, Fla. is in charge of arrangements.



James Charles Natale

June 15, 2010



James Charles Natale, age 77, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, Fla.

James was born in Herminie, Pa., August 16, 1932. He was a member of the American Legion Post 59 of Branford, Fla., a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and member of the Live Oak Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Natale, a son, James Daniel Natale, two stepsons, Craig Nix of Live Oak and Jimmy Nix of Callahan, Fla., a step daughter, Dena Ferguson, two grandchildren and two great grand children, a brother, Richard Natale of Weddington, N.C., and two sisters, Marygrace Herbert and Donna Natale of Colorado.

A memorial service was held on June 19, 2010, with military honors at the Live Oak Church of Christ to celebrate the life of James.



Willie Mae Stockton

Willie Mae Stockton, of Live Oak, Florida, the oldest of nine children born to William and Mary Etta Scott, passed from this life into her eternal rest on June 20, 2010, in Memorial Hospital of Jacksonville, Florida.  She was 97 years of age and leaves to cherish her memory, one remaining brother, Dr. H. Jay Scott (Shirlee) of Columbus, Ohio and their eldest son, Pastor Ron Scott (Yolanda) of Jacksonville, Florida as well as a host of other nephews, nieces, and friends.  Final arrangements were entrusted to Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073, 904-264-1233.
