Freeze warning in effect for early Wednesday

Live Oak — From the National Weather Service:

The National Weather Service out of Jacksonville has issued a freeze warning from 4 a.m. until 9 a.m. Wednesday for Hamilton, Suwannee and Columbia counties. Minimum temperatures can be expected between 29 and 32 degrees with three to five hours of sub-freezing temperatures for interior sections.

A brief period of sub-freezing temperatures towards sunrise on Wednesday could harm sensitive vegetation. Appropriate action should be taken to ensure that tender vegetation and outdoor pets will be protected from the cold temperatures.
