Interstate 75 Nighttime lane closures for northbound traffic between State Road 6 (Exit 460) and the Georgia line Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. to resurface the inside and center lanes which requires two lanes to close. The speed limit is reduced to 60 mph during lane closures. No lanes are closed from 6 a.m. Friday until 8 p.m. Sunday.
US 41 Daytime lane closures after 8:30 a.m. between the Columbia County line (Suwannee River Bridge) and US 129 just south of Jasper to resurface, seal bridge joints at the Swift Creek bridge and upgrade signals in White Springs.

On Friday, Jan. 18, the Sparkleberry Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society will participate in this year’s Florida Arbor Day Celebration by giving away free bare root Florida NATIVE trees, one to a family! - Flu vaccine available at the Health Department
Seasonal influenza vaccine is now available at the Suwannee County Health Department. Vaccine is available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8-11 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. The charge is $15 for adults and is free of charge for persons age 6 months through 18 years.
