Patient care assistant class graduates

The Lake City Community College Patient Care Assistant program class of fall 2008 held their commencement exercises on Dec. 4, 2008, at 6 p.m. in the Lake City Medical Center Auditorium of the Barney E. McRae Jr., M.D. Medical Technology Building. The graduates have completed a 13-week course and are now eligible to take the Florida Certified Nursing Assistant Examination. Upon successful completion of the examination, graduates are prepared to work in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and home healthcare agencies.
