Suwannee took home another win with a 7-3 victory over district opponent Ridgeview. The win pushes the overall Bulldog record to 12-2 for the season.

Billy Moran started on the mound for Suwannee, according to Bulldog baseball coach Ronnie Gray, Moran had a below average start. Moran gave up three runs in four innings allowing five hits and walking four.

Offensively Suwannee had a good day. Gray said the Dogs were very opportunistic scoring two in the first, three in the third, and three in the fourth.

Ridgeview scored one run in the first inning and two in the third and that was it. Daniel Tillman relieved Moran and pitched the three innings allowing no runs on five hits and did not walk a hitter in picking up his second save of the season.

Offensively Tillman and Baldwin led the attack. Baldwin went 4-4 driving in a pair of runs and Tillman was 3-4 with a double and a run batted in.

Each hitter in the line up collected at least one hit.

“We are starting to see some production out of the bottom half of the batting order which is key,” Gray said.
