Rant & Rave - June 8, 2012

Live Oak — In regard to how Randy Harris has come along in in Public Works Dept I think your just being unreasonable. Picking up garbage before you mow is hard and it's hot outside. You can't expect someone to just stop and bend over to collect garbage everytime they come upon it. And spraying the trees and vines is way easier too. Imagine how exhausting it would be to cut each vine you see hanging. Come on, be nice. I know Randy and he is a great boss and a really good guy. Get it together SC>

I think PARENTS who teach their children to URINATE in public pools should be ashamed of themselves! I swim there and sometimes I get that urinated water in my mouth and I SWALLOW IT! Before we worry about who our next Superintendent of Schools is, or who the next County Commisioner is we need to clean these pools and educate our children about the negative effects of Chlorine.

I think children should have to learn how to can preserves in school. Our children need to have these skills which will last their lifetimes. When was the last time you pickled okra, hmm?

in reply to "local politics" your numbers make my head swim. 43% of your math was made up on the spot for a statistic you caulculated in your mind. take away at least 76% of the numbers for an error in additional number bumping and you have at least 15% of the people in suwannee county who care about the subject matter in which you wrote about. But serously, I agree with you at least 100%.

I would like to Thank Cassandra Yulee, Marvette Gwinn, Patrick Jernigan and Mandy Brown for all that you have taught my son. It is Teachers like you that truly make a difference in children lives. Thanks for all that you have done to get him where he is now. Thanks and continue to be the best Teachers.
