A Live Oak man suffered only minor injuries in a Baker County crash Tuesday morning, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
Michael Dayton Grand, 23, Live Oak, eastbound on US 90 from Olustee. FHP reported that as Grand’s 2007 Dodge Ram passed CR 250A, the Ram struck standing water in the travel lanes from Tuesday’s storm. The Ram began to hydroplane and then traveled across the westbound lane of US 90 and into the tree line. The front of the Ram then struck a medium-sized pine tree. The Ram came to a final rest facing a northerly direction.
Grand was wearing a seatbelt, FHP reported.
He was charged with careless driving.
