Special meeting of Suw. Co. Comm. called for Friday

The Suwannee County Board of County Commissioners will hold a specially-called meeting on Friday, Sept. 25 at 9 a.m. in the conference room, County Offices Building located at 224 Pine Avenue in Live Oak.

The purpose of the special meeting is to consider approval of a request by the Suwannee County Tax Collector to direct the Suwannee County Property Appraiser to make a First Certification and Extension of the 2009 Suwannee County Tax Roll to the Tax Collector prior to the completion of the Value Adjustment Board hearings and to allow for meeting the requirements of Florida Statutes for the issuance of tax notices.
