Isolated strong to severe T-storms, heavy rainfall forecast
A low pressure system forming over the Gulf Coast Region will track east and bring the chance of strong to possibly severe storms to SE Georgia & NE Florida late Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday night with widespread rainfall and a chance of thunderstorms. Isolated thunderstorms may become strong or severe with strong gusty winds. An isolated tornado cannot be completely ruled out, but the threat is very low at this time.
Low pressure to bring lots of rain Tuesday
A strengthening low pressure system will move near the area Tuesday and Tuesday night bringing with it widespread rainfall and a chance of thunderstorms. A few of those storms may become strong or severe with strong gusty winds being the main threat, according to NOAA. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out, but the threat remains very low at this time.
