Village Church in Dowling Park - Christmas Cantata
The Village Church in Dowling Park will present its annual Christmas Cantata - God Speaks “Word of the Father now in flesh appearing.”
For more than 35 years, this musical has drawn people from North Florida and South Georgia. This is an intergenerational event, with a cast and production crew of over 75 children, teens and adults, combining in drama and singing to capture the Christmas story in a fresh new way each year. A three-octave handbell choir is also featured along with trumpets, guitar, percussion, piano and organ. If you want to begin your Christmas season with an inspirational music and worship experience, please join us. All are welcome.
Saturday, Dec. 8 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tickets for this year’s program can be obtained at no cost for the Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon performances at the Village Church office (386-658-5344) or at The Music Center in Live Oak.
