SUWANNEE COUNTY
Howard Street (U.S. 90) The road will be totally closed between U.S. 129 and Church Street on Friday, October 17 between 3-5 p.m. for the Suwannee High School homecoming parade.
Ohio Avenue (U.S. 129) The road will be totally closed between Pinewood Way and U.S. 90 on Friday, October 17 from 3-5 p.m. for the Suwannee High School homecoming parade. Traffic will be detoured to Miller Road to Railroad Avenue to Helvenston Street to Lee Avenue to Duval Street and back to U.S. 129.
State Road 247 Daytime lane closures begin after 8:30 a.m. to build a new sidewalk north of U.S. 129 in Branford. Also, culverts and drainage pipes will continue to be replaced or extended from north of Branford to the Columbia County line. No paving expected this week.
U.S. 129 Daytime lane closures north of Branford to McAlpin as crews continue to work along the shoulders of the roadway in preparation for paving by grading them. Also, crews continue working on the new wheelchair-accessible ramps at side street intersections in Branford from U.S. 27 to the northern city limits which require the outside lane to be closed. The work in the Town of Branford should be completed by the end of next week.
U.S. 129 Daytime lane closures from north of McAlpin to the Hamilton County line to allow inmate crews to repaint the roadway markings.
HAMILTON COUNTY
County Road 143 Daytime lane closures for repairs to the roadway south of Interstate 75 for five miles.
U.S. 41 Crews will be repainting the roadway lines between the Suwannee River (Columbia County line) and the Georgia line.
