Chelsea Williams awarded Police Chiefs’ Scholarship

Suwannee County resident Chelsea M. Williams is the 2008 recipient of the Third Judicial Circuit Police Chiefs’ Scholarship, the North Florida Community College (NFCC) Foundation announced. A Suwannee High School graduate, Williams is working toward earning an associate in arts degree at NFCC. She plans to graduate next year. She is the daughter of Live Oak police chief Alton K. “Buddy” Williams III and Amy Williams of Live Oak.
The scholarship was established in 1999 by the Third Judicial Circuit Police Chiefs’ Association.
The scholarship, which covers books, tuition or fees, awards up to $1,000 per calendar year. Recipients are eligible to renew the scholarship for a second year.
