LETTER TO THE EDITOR - (Oct. 21)

To the Editor:

With all the crime and robberies going on today, I thought it would be wonderful to share something that shows there is still good people left in the world. Tuesday night I went to pick my daughter up from work, and I took off not realizing I left my wallet on top of the car. After I got to work yesterday, I realized what must have happened, and called my daughter. She walked about 2 miles in each direction of our house and checked the ditches for my wallet. She found pictures and a few dollars, but no wallet. I was frantic as I have never lost it before. My daughter called a few hours later and stated the police had brought my wallet to the house with everything in it. I was so shocked. I never thought I would see my things again. I just hope that I can get you to print this so that I can say thank you to Officer Poole out in Dowling Park and to the person(s) that turned my wallet in to Officer Poole. Moving here from Houston, I didn't have much trust in people. You both have shown me that there are still good people in the world, and what prayer can do. Thank you again, and I hope you both get blessed as you have blessed me.

Rhoda Fragd (Dotson)
