Beverly Patterson Mickler

Mrs. Beverly Patterson Mickler, age 82, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Dowling Park, Florida. She was born in Monticello to Reverend and Mrs. Alvin Millard Patterson.

She was married to Dr. Fredrick Troupe Mickler, Jr. for 62 years and made their home in Jasper where they lived until they retired to Dowling Park.

She is survived by her husband Dr. Mickler of Dowling Park, five sons Rusty Mickler of Columbia S.C., Sam Mickler of Winter Park, FL, Ben Mickler of Birmingham, Ala., Bill Mickler of Jasper, Jonathan Mickler of Tallahassee, one daughter Beverly “Duchess” Brown of Tallahassee, one brother Sonny Patterson, Monticello, eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, September 30, at the First United Methodist Church of Madison. T.J. Beggs, Jr. & Sons, Inc., of Madison, (850) 973-2258, was in charge of arrangements.
