Hamilton County High School Graduation

Jasper — Graduation ceremonies for Hamilton County High School will be held on Friday, May 30, at 8 p.m. at the HCHS football stadium. In case of inclement weather, the ceremonies could be delayed or postponed. See below for plans A, B & C:

Plan A       

Friday, May 30     Graduation in the Stadium   

    3:00 p.m.        Decision is made about possible weather delay or postponement

    7:00 p.m.         Graduates report to the Visitors side of the Concession Stand/Gates open to the public

    7:30 p.m.         Teachers report to Visitors side of the Concession Stand

    7:50 p.m.        Teachers walk out to positions on the field

    8:00 p.m.        Graduates begin their walk

Plan B            (In the event of rain Friday night)

Saturday, May 31    Graduation in the Stadium

    7:30 a.m.        Graduates report to the Visitors side of the Concession stand/Gates open to the public

    8:00 a.m.        Teachers report to Visitors side of the Concession stand

    8:20 a.m.        Teachers walk out to positions on the field

    8:30 a.m.        Students begin their walk

Plan C            (In the event of rain Saturday morning)

Saturday, May 31    Graduation in the Gym   

    7:30 a.m.        Graduates report to the weight-room of gym/Doors open to public

    8:00 a.m.        Teachers report to Ms. Puckett’s classroom in gym

    8:20 a.m.        Teachers walk out to positions in the gym

    8:30 a.m.        Graduates begin their walk-Graduation begins

   

Please note: If graduation ceremonies move inside to the gym, each graduating student will get 10 tickets for their families/friends.
