A fire gutted this brick home on 97th Road around 4:30 Monday afternoon. The home was being remodeled by owner Bill Christensen. "I couldn't believe it," he said of learning of the fire. Christensen said air conditioning ducts had just been installed. The fire was called in by a bystander who was working in a nearby field.
