The United Way Golf Tournament, sponsored by First Federal Bank of Florida, will be held Friday, June 20, at Suwannee Country Club in Live Oak. Shotgun starts are set for 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The tournament will be held under a four-person scramble format. Minimum team handicap must be 40 or over with no more than one player with a handicap under 10. Coffee, juice, fruit and bagels will be served at 7:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. by Dairy Queen of Live Oak.
The entry fee of $55 per person includes cart, green fees, food and beverage, plus a tee gift. Forty dollars of every entry fee may be considered a charitable contribution. Make your check payable to United Way of Suwannee Valley.
Prizes are $400 for 1st place, $300 for 2nd place and $200 for 3rd place. Closest to pin on Number 5 or Number 14 wins $50; closest to pin on Number 8 or Number 17 also wins $50.
