Fall Fest ‘08, Madison County’s biggest gospel music event, continues through Sunday, Nov. 9, at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in Madison. Featuring: Bradys, Naomi and the Segos, Jeff Treece Band, The Old Paths, The Gibbs Family, The Reflectsons, Stephen Jones, Southern Joy, Redeemed Trio, Pure Heart and VictorySong. The Live Oak Church of God youth ministry (V.I.B.E.) will offer a barbecue pork dinner from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 7. Menu: Barbecue pork, slaw, baked beans, roll and cake. Cost: $6. Christian Mission in Action Ministries Pre-Thanksgiving Luncheon
Christian Mission in Action Ministries will serve its Pre-Thanksgiving Luncheon from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 8 in the fellowship and dining hall at Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God, 410 Taylor Ave., Live Oak. Old Fashion Day
Friendship Baptist Church will be celebrating Old Fashion Day on Sunday, Nov. 9. Sunday school begins at 9:45 a.m., church services at 11 a.m. Dinner on the ground to follow the services so put on your old fashion duds and come on out for a wonderful day full of worship and great food and fellowship.
