BHS Track

On Saturday, March 15, the Boys Track Team defeated Suwannee and 12 other teams to bring home the team's first Suwannee Invitational Championship.

Coach Rodriguez was very pleased with the team's effort. It was only the team's second meet this year because several meets had been canceled due to bad weather.

Individual Results:

Jeremy Jackson- 5th Shot Put

Tim Clark- 4th Pole Vault, 5th Triple Jump, 1st High Hurdles, 4th Low Hurdles

Adam Powell- 4th High Jump, 2nd 400, 6th 200, 4th 4x400.

David Bass- 1st Mile, 1st Two Mile, and 1st 4x800

Chet Clipper- 4th 800, and 1st in 4x800

David Bass- 1st 4x800

Anthony Armstrong- 1st 4x800

Willy Clemons- 4th 4x400

Korey Kendrick- 4th 4x400

Brad Bullock- 4th 4x400



4x800 Brooke Stebbins- Kendall Hall-Ashliana Despasito, Lindsey Howard.

100 Hurdles- Tarina Wade - 4th

1600 Meters- Lauren Koehler- 4th

400 Meters- Montana Bailey- 4th

300 Meters Hurdles- Tarina Wade- 4th and Haley Stebbins- 6th

800 Meter Run- Shanteena Cruz- 3rd and Brittany Cramer 5th

3200 Meters- Lauren Koehler- 4th and Ashliane Despasito- 5th

4x400- Tiffany Williams-Tanya Dicks, Montana Bailey and Melissa Dingus- 4th

Pole Vault- Shanteena Cruz- 5th

High Jump- Kristyn Lynch- 1st

Triple Jump- Kristyn Lynch- 2nd

Shot Put- Crystal Bass- 2nd

Discus- Crystal Bass- 3rd.

The team finished third overall out of 14 teams. Overall a good effort by a very young team. We were in the hunt for the title all day.
