O'Brien man arrested for battery

Michael Anthony Mazur, 43, of 25020 CR 49, O'Brien, was arrested July 6 and charged with battery, according to sheriff's reports. Suwannee County Sheriff's Corporal Lee Willis was dispatched to a residence on CR 49 in reference to a disturbance, say reports, and on arrival the alleged victim told Willis that her roommate's boyfriend, Mazur, grabbed the alleged victim by the hair and dragged her out of the residence as her roommate and Mazur argued. Witnesses present say they saw Mazur grab the victim by the hair, reports indicate.

Mazur was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges. He has since been released on bail.
