Matthew Scott Addison, 18, of Branford suffered incapacitating injuries when the vehicle he was driving went out of control on U. S. 129 north of 184th Street, approximately ten miles south of Live Oak, and wrecked during the early morning hours of Dec. 27.



According to a news release from Troop B, division of Florida Highway Patrol the 2001 Ford pickup driven by Addison was traveling north bound on U. S. 129. For an unknown reason the vehicle traveled left of center and began rotating. According to the report the vehicle left the roadway and entered the westbound shoulder. It overturned several times before coming to final rest on its' wheels facing westbound. Other occupants was not known at press time.



The report from FHP listed $25,000 as the amount of damage to the vehicle.



Trooper John B. Stuart is the traffic investigator. The incident remains under investigation.

According to the FHP report Addison was transported to Shands of Live Oak by Suwannee County EMS, and later released.
