Earl H. Harrelson

Mr. Earl H. Harrelson, age 72, of Panama City, Florida passed away Monday, April 18, 2005, in Panama City. He was born in Gulf County and moved to Panama City in 1986 from Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Harrelson was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean Conflict. He was a retired forklift operator for the Ford Motor Company and was a member of the Central Pentecostal Ministries.

Mr. Harrelson was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Estell Harrelson and a brother, Willie Harrelson.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Harrelson of Panama City; two daughters: Brenda Amerson (Tim) of Jasper, Florida; and Patsy Sue Harrelson of Panama City; six brothers: Buddy Harrelson (Katherine) of Tallahassee, Florida, Donald Harrelson (Alice) of Callaway, Florida, David Harrelson of Youngstown, Florida, Glenn Harrelson (Catherine) of Tallahassee, James Harrelson (Betty) of Kansas City, and Tommy Harrelson (Helen) of Sneads, Florida; one sister, Armetta Watford (Walter) of Panama City; six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Harrelson was held Thursday, April 21, 2005, at Southerland Family Funeral Home in Panama City with Brother Don Shoots officiating. Interment followed at Callaway Cemetery.

Jewell Green McCulley

Jewell Green McCulley, age 90, of Jennings, Florida, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at Suwannee Valley Nursing Center in Jasper, following an extended illness. The Hamilton County native and lifelong resident was a homemaker and member of Corinth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Leonard McCulley and a son, James McCulley.

Survivors include two sons: Tommy McCulley (Elaine) of Ormand Beach, Florida and Donald McCulley (Cheryl) of IJamsville, Maryland; one daughter, Helen Miller (Ted) of Jennings; one sister, Vera Morgan of Jacksonville, Florida; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 23, 2005, in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home with Pastor Curtis Jackson officiating. Interment followed at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
