The Branford Camera Club will meet at the Branford Public Library, Thursday, Jan. 18, 7:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Katherine Stark, senior consultant for Creative Memories will bring Stark ideas for organizing, archiving and creatively presenting your photographs. Also to be discussed will be how to take and prepare photographs for contest entry.

If you received a new camera equipment for Christmas and need some help “getting acquainted,” bring your equipment and the associated instruction manual. One or more of members will probably be able to help you get the best from your new equipment. Also, bring your recent photos, photography observations and questions and enjoy an evening with photography enthusiasts.

Plan ahead: The guest speaker for February meeting will be Skip Weigel, a local portrait photographer who has recently retired and moved to Branford. If you are interested in portrait photography, you won’t want to miss the February meeting!

The Branford Camera Club meets at the Branford Public Library on the third Thursday of each month, with two exceptions. It has no meeting in August, and the December meeting is on the second Thursday to accommodate the busy holiday season.
